Sised certain words made them all the creepy and memorable as characters It was great to see how they progressed throughout the storyOverall this was a great book Evonnia Amp The Maiden full of action and suspense with a realistic teen character I would recommend it to anyone 10 male oremale who enjoys the science Enemies Of The State The Executive Office 1 fiction thriller or mild horror genres and lovesast paced stories with surprising endingsI think it would also particularly suit boys aged 10 15 whose parents are trying to encourage them to read because Eight Mile Island is Mangalorean Cuisine fast paced and engaging with enough gore and eeriness to seem cool but not so much that it s inappropriatePlease go and give this book some love buy your copy now Please note This was originally reviewed on and was offered to me in exchangeor an author interview book giveaway and an honest review Having a high I Dylan knew he was talented so being shipped off to ANOTHER BOARDING SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED AND RICH WAS boarding school Bulgakov for the gifted and rich was new he knew he would just slip out the backdoor like always and continue on his way He knew being placed on an island might present some new challenges but he could handle it What Dylan didn t expect was the voices and other comments he heard as he disembarkedrom the erry What seems like a tropical paradise to his as he disembarked rom the erry What seems like a tropical paradise to his in not what is in store or Dylan as he inds what really lies in wait or him on Eight Mile Island The story is The Spectrum 1930 fast paced and I was so consumed by this book that I had a hard timeinding room El Arbol Rojo Del Multinivel Y Las Ventas Directas for anything else as Ilipped through my Nook As Dylan discovers his teachers and the other students I The Legend Of Amanda Robins felt myself trying to reveal the mystery before Dylan The introor Cassie was so wonderfully done and I loved how her character was weaved throughout the book that I had so many emotions The Game Of My Life Gary Ablett My Story for her Good job I was given this bookor an honest review This book does contain language and violence This is one of those books you put down and turn the light off to go to sleep then within 5 minutes you turn the light back on and go again It s Dear Nancy filled with action it s a little bit creepy and there s lots of twists and turns in the story The plotline is right up my alley and it certainly didn t disappoint Iirst read about this book when someone else reviewed it on their blog and it sounded Igniting Lies Burning 1 fantastic but it wasn t available at BN I left a comment on the blog hoping the author would soon offer it on the BN site but he very graciously sent me a copy and I m so glad he did I m officially aan of Tony Talbot and will be looking or his other booksDylan was the epitome of a moody angsty teenager and I should know since I have two of my own He was rude and surly and thought of no one but himself But he was also a genius with an I of 150 As the book progressed I particularly liked seeing that Dylan began to display traits of vulnerability and loyalty along with his intelligenceThe antagonists Dr Montgomery and Mr Glaze were appropriately creepy and controlling and their secretiveness combined with the uestion of what was really happening on the island added to the level of suspense in the storyThe author does an excellent job with descriptive writing and I elt as if I were standing in the scenes along with Dylan This book was a John Rawls fast paced uick readull of action and suspense with a plot twist I definitely didn t see coming love it when that happens Check out this book you won t be disappointed. But aren'tThings that are hungry and waitingBut that's the start of the mysteries mysteries that mean Dylan may never escapeEven if he wants toWelcome to Eight Mile Islan. Lan s surrounding with a sense of danger impending doom and hostility which added to the overall sinister vibe of the island The most interesting thing I noted about the writing however was the use of present tense eg i look nose twitches rather than i I look nose twitches rather than I nose twitched etc The majority of novels are written in the past tense and I have only ever come across one other that used the present I thought this was a bold and interesting decision that made the book Pregnant By My Father In Law feel a little different and uniue It was an interesting reading experience Having said that Iound this choice was slightly awkward or me my brain was slightly awkward or me my brain so used to the past tense that I kept tripping up over certain sections even by the end of the book I wasn t completely used to the tense Whether this was entirely down to me certain sections of writing or because the present tense is not as Unlocking The Secrets Of 2012 fluid to read I am not sure I would be interested to see how the book would compare in the past tense that would be intriguingThe plot wasast paced which kept me interested rom the beginning even the irst scene in the book was Rain Valley full on sweeping me up straight into the action and refusing to let go Every time I sat down to read Eight Mile Island I would end up reading in huge chunks rather than aew chapters because once I started I couldn t stop Not knowing what the mysterious lets paraphrase and call them monsters actually were how they came to be on the island or what they were after kept me in suspense until the very end Although I Our Fight felt theight scenes with them became close to repetitive towards the end they were or the most part very interesting to read about I also loved how the plot twisted and turned throughout the book as it meant I had no idea where
"the story was going chapter by chapter And as or the twist ending whoa I had no "story was going chapter by chapter And as Ataturk for the twist ending whoa I had no how it was going to end but I definitely did not see that coming Dylan as a character was greator all his teen angst rudeness and general screw you attitude to those around him I couldn t help but like him It soon becomes clear all that angst has a reason behind it and he often uses it to deflect his true Stranputice Ljubavi feelings and prevent himrom having to show any Mathilde Jensens Frste Gang form of weakness He is sent to Eight Mile Island because of his I which makes him the minority surrounded by those with money and power Dylan s confusion at the gaps in his memory are heightened by theact that he has always been able to remember everything throughout his life In Search Of Temple Treasures from what he ateor breakfast 7 years ago to a complex html and I Westlake Soul found this uite poetic It made me sympathise with him evenurther when the island took away Ms Sql Server Management Studio Third Edition from him the one strength he had always been able to rely on and that made the placeeel all the horrible I loved that Dylan was beautifully but subtly developedKeiko another trapped teen and Miss Driscoll the teacher were interesting additions as Dylan never uite knew whether to trust them However they Hrvatski Pravopis felt a little hollow to me and I think they could have done with someurther development I believe this was partly due to their role in the book as a reader I was never sure whether what they were saying was true and conseuently I The Secret Summer Of L E B felt like I didn t get to know them properlyDr Montgomery and Mr Glaze the two administrator s of the island made a lasting impression there was something genuinely sinister about the two of them The way they bizarrely over empha. N't think he'll be there than a weekBut Eight Mile Island isn't like anywhere Dylan has been before In the denseorests around the school there are things that look human.
